Excellent Staff and Beautiful Setting

I stayed at the hotel for a few nights. The staff were attentive and competent (they always smiled!). The hotel has a great location within walking distance to the city. I enjoyed the Saturday Night Buffet because it had a fantastic cross section of southern Vietnamese cuisine.
The room was noisy. I could hear the person in the room next door watching TV. The shower is in the bath. The bath got slippery, which wasn't good.

The staff are attentive and responsive. They keep on caring . The front desk is helpful for ordering a taxi. Staff members are competent and very friendly.

The breakfast had a large selection. The Saturday Night Buffet offered a fantastic cross section of southern Vietnamese cuisine. The food is exquisite. Everything is cooked with attention to each cuisine.

The hotel has two swimming pools. The main pool was beautifully clean and warm. Free bike hire is available . There is also a pedestrian bridge to town.

The rooms are large and inspired by the Victorian era. Rooms feature beautiful wooden floors and furniture. My room in the main building overlooked the pool with a balcony. Air conditioning worked fantastically.

the staff knew me by name! the hotel was clean. a river walk is accessible from the hotel hotel, it is easy to walk to town. the breakfast is amazing, the omelette bar is great, and the fresh fruit is delicious!
the room was noisy, i could hear the person in the room next door. the pool looks amazing. the shower is in the bath, the bath got slippery when used as a shower, that is not good. the restaurant was okay but very expensive for the location and what it was.

Acceptable Stay, Some Disappointments

The grounds were pretty, with Indochina influences in the design.
The noise level in my room was a problem. I could clearly hear the television and phone conversations of the guest in the adjacent room. The restaurant prices felt quite high relative to other places in Vietnam and the food I got. I also found the bathtub got slippery when I used it as a shower, a real safety issue.
